Located between the third and fourth rings on the eastern side of Beijing, this 1,000 unit condominium development serves both the foreign community working in the nearby embassy district and Beijing residents. Through its various courtyards and open spaces, the project makes a conceptual landscape connection to the nearby Chaoyang Park, Beijing’s largest park. The streetscape is designed to make a park-like public face of the building to the street. The courtyards, defined by the L-shaped buildings and built over underground parking, create a series of garden spaces to enjoy nature or to be viewed from the homes above. A series of paths and water bodies connect the various spaces and encourage residents to explore and enjoy seasonal change and botanical beauty.
