Roy Park
Intern (he/him)
Roy Park is an architectural designer and artist currently investigating the space between landscape and building. He believes that landscape can be a force for organizing context and providing feedback for the built environment rather than a separate element altogether. He hopes to generate new relationships between building, site, and community by finding active spatial and ecological frameworks in landscape for design opportunities in form and program, ultimately dissolving conventional disciplinary boundaries.
He is currently attending Cornell University for a Bachelor of Architecture where he has mainly been studying and practicing around concerns for social housing and public amenities. His studio projects have included designing for a new food pantry in the town of Enfield, affordable housing in Hunters Point, a park renovation in Green County, and a public pool for Fall Creek.
