Travis is a landscape designer, photographer, writer, and botanical designer with over a decade of fine horticulture experience. He is interested in adaptation of historical gardens for climate change and decolonization, design of public spaces that blend ecological principles with beauty, and landscapes of belonging for diverse communities.
He is recent graduate of Rhode Island School of Design’s Master of Landscape Architecture program, and his thesis revolved around how alteration of legacy dams could be a catalyst for cultural change to connect people to their environmental context. Prior to school, he worked for numerous leading horticulture companies in the Greater Boston area, where he focused on landscape maintenance, living sculpture, sales, and client relationships. He is a volunteer garden designer at the Stow Conservation Trust and an avid hiker and creative writer.
