About the role:
KMDG is looking to strategically grow our team with an office and marketing coordinator who shares our core values of Collaboration, Creativity, Curiosity, Authenticity, Inclusivity, and Resiliency. In this position you will support the needs of team members in a growing design company, contribute to marketing activities that support the brand, identity and perception of the firm, and be part of a vibrant team seeking to improve public landscape spaces through thoughtful work.
General Office:
Receive in-person clients and visitors
Receive and distribute incoming mail and deliveries; manage outgoing mail and deliveries
Assist firm partners and staff with scheduling and miscellaneous project-related tasks
Manage office calendar and vacation requests
Assist with management of studio materials library
Coordinate firm events (team gatherings, ‘lunch and learns’, etc.)
Coordinate with outside vendors (phone, printer, internet, etc)
Administration:
Assist firm partners with lectures, conferences, outreach, and travel
Maintain office filing systems (small paper system and digital)
Manage firm’s Employee Manual and HR files
Maintain firm’s Recruiting Database and correspond with employment applicants
Lead on-boarding of new staff
Manage professional licenses and registrations for Principals
Maintain standardized office forms and firm contacts list
Marketing Support:
Assist in the delivery of award/marketing submittals and proposals
Assist with website updates
Help create and update company’s marketing graphics
Update company marketing materials with current information
Assist in research for and development of RFQ submittals
Maintain firm’s graphic standards and brand identity
Qualifications:
Capable of managing multiple, complex schedules and supporting the Principals
Self-motivated and able to work independently with clear direction
Team-oriented with superior verbal and written communications skills and interest in helping fuel office culture with event planning, etc
Ability to manage time and self-edit work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple concurrent projects
Proactive communication, strong work ethic and solutions-oriented ideas are highly valued
Some knowledge about standard bookkeeping and accounting practices is desirable
Basic knowledge of Adobe InDesign; working knowledge of Squarespace is desirable
Compensation:
Salary range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000 depending on qualifications and experience
