The pedestrian and transit-oriented development at Center & Stone will be located a short walking distance from the Quincy Center MBTA Station and newly completed Hancock Adams Commons adjacent to Quincy’s City Hall. The landscape includes a dynamic public realm and streetscape at the ground level as well as open-air amenity terraces on the upper levels including an 8,000 SF pool deck.
Center & Stone will introduce 201 apartments, shared amenity spaces, and 10,300 SF of retail space across two six-story buildings that will bring vibrancy to Quincy’s historic downtown. The existing Masonic Temple will be restored, upgraded for accessibility requirements, and feature a 4,800 SF restaurant and amenity spaces.
The two buildings will be framed by a revitalized urban realm that continues the activated street front and ties the site with the city center and adjacent neighborhood. The pedestrian experience is enhanced by the generous sidewalks, lush planting, and new street lighting that will create a safer, more attractive space for both pedestrians and drivers.
