Urban Design Leaders Discuss Creative Placemaking in D.C.

Kaki was recently invited by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Local Initiatives Support Corporation as part of a urban design, creative placemaking and community engagement team of experts for their inaugural Local Leaders’ Institute on Creative Placemaking. The program was an intensive two-day workshop designed to help participants from six small, medium and rural communities around the country to learn how to implement successful creative placemaking projects.
