Steel Yard featured in ASLA Climate Exhibition

The American Society of Landscape Architects opened a new Smart Policies for a Changing Climate Exhibition at the Center for Landscape Architecture in Washington D.C., this week. We are proud that our work at The Steel Yard in Providence, Rhode Island, is one of the 20 projects featured. The exhibit’s case studies showcase best practices for creating resilient and sustainable communities. Each of the projects illustrates success in harnessing natural systems, reducing carbon emissions, and improving communities’ resilience to climate change.

The exhibit breaks down the projects into five categories: natural systems, community development, vulnerable communities, transportation, and agriculture. The Steel Yard is featured as part of the community development projects.

The exhibition is free and open to the public through May 1, 2020. You can learn more about the exhibit and hours here.
